romantic, about love and the loved spring
Oh! Spring, the heaven sent beauty,
Smiled the sun, with rays so bright, at your presence
A breeze so cold, awaken my soul,
So green seemed everywhere my eyes could reach.
Bloomed every rose in my garden with coy,
Seemed as though your presence made them blush.
The birds sang the song of love,
The river played the music,
At the touch of the wind, the trees moved to this music.
I put my feet into the water,
As I sat by the river,
Resting my head on the grass,
Staring at the clear blue sky.
Erased away seemed all my sorrows,
As the water rubbed over my feet.
I felt as though I lied on his lap,
Staring into his deep blue eyes.
As I rested with this feeling,
A dry leaf fell over my hand,
Dropped down by the wind.
It seemed as though you said its time for you to leave.
With eyes filled with tears,
I watched you walk away,
In my heart, so barren like a desert,
Bloomed a flower of hope,
And on its petals were written,
“I promise to return”.
