A poem I wrote just to pass the time in my Journalism class.
creeping up and down the steps-
in the night
wandering in and out of the old rundown-
apartment building
long since abandonded in a fit of-
silence and tranquility
and it is here where i find both war and peace-
solitude and company
but when nothing else quenches my thirst for-
life
i come here to the place where reality is-
a dream.
