This is a dedication to one of the owners of Eagle Trident Security, Greg S.
Staring out the window,
In the early morning light,
Watching the proud eagle,
Preparing to take flight;

He captures me with envy,
With his head as white as snow,
His claws that shine like steel,
And the courage that he shows;

Beauty is in his nature,
Truth is in his eyes,
But his true beauty is shown,
Every time he flies;

He glides on air with passion
Soaring gracefully through the sky,
Using the wind to guide him,
As if it were a third eye;

Watching him now I think back,
To what it was like before,
Before he learned to hunt,
Before he learned to soar;

He has come so far
Since the early days,
He never does fall,
Or lose his prey.

Now his flight is perfect,
But think how hard he tried,
Think how hard he worked,
Just to earn his pride;

Although we envy the Eagle,
For his ability to soar,
We must all remember,
We aren't stuck to the floor.

Nothing can tie us down,
If we really want to soar,
But we have to give it enough effort,
And just a little more;

Nothing is beyond your power,
Only beyond your willpower.
