This poem is about my mom and was the first poem I ever wrote..
You were there for me and your son (my brother.)
We loved you, and we still do always, always in our hearts and souls.
You're our guardian angel!
Beside me, beside him.
Why? Why'd you go, why?
I guess it was just your time.
God, why her, why then, why not later, why?
Where? Where'd you go? I want to know.
But in some way you never left me because I can still feel your warmth.
I can feel your warmth right now.
Beside me, beside him, always there for us.
Sometimes I feel I could have stopped this terrible heart breaking thing from happening.
Your son (my brother) feels the same way.
Why? Why couldn't I have stopped this from happening. Why?
Why now, why not later?
Why'd you have to go, why?
But in ways you never left me and your son (my brother.)
You're always in our hearts and souls.
You're here with me and him.
No matter where we are you are with us, helping us through our paths in life and helping us make the right decisions in life.
