A poem about inconsistencies in love.
Unclear Visions

Visions taught me not to ignore
the questions that haunt me,
wondering what you meant
when you said, "Of course, I do."

Dreams have taught me not to believe
fairy tales of "could be" or "might happen."
Fairy tales are for kids or believers,
and we both know I am just a man,

All things change; blacks fade to gray;
Smooth skins turn to wrinkles.
Maybe cannot turn into "of course"
when the race has already been run.
