Home is where the heart is...and where the headaches start.
The truth is out there.
The truth is here.
In front of the donut shop,
Two boys argue comic books and monsters.
Two men in town hall
Argue misappropriation and racism.
No truth to be found.
No silence.
No peace.
The wind on the marsh whispers the answers,
Yet it is silenced by the church bells
Singing to the heavens.
The truth is out there.
The truth is grace.
The truth is romance.
The truth is loneliness and friendship.
The truth is the body in the trunk,
The bills in the glove box,
The gun under the seat.
The truth is nothing and everything
Seen, touched, and heard.
Voices. Silence. Money. Power.
The truth is out there,
And I am home.
