provoked by another relationship gone south
two worms emerge on the the end of a rainy night.

they stretch and curl as they as they reach the new forming light.

they move innocent and nimble, complacent and ignorant to all around

a kind of slither, as they stroke their occupied ground.

their pathways cross as pathways often do

they bump, retract and poke as they explore the others tenor

then cross and go on in their traverse, apathetic and unfeeling.

did they aquaint? connect? emotion revealing?

did they know they are comparable?

if they didnt, would it be so terrible?

do the paths we cross affect our lives?

those we love will cause us pain and strife

will we rise above it to be better men

or sit and wallow in our prideful pen.

the day will come when your heart will shatter

whipped, beaten, burned like pancake batter

enemies, family, friendship aside.

each associate has a lesson to provide.

a lesson they've learned.

merit achieaved, merit earned.

yours is no less considerable.

so "Be Yourself" is what I call this parrable.

because when all is said and done,

what else will we have to show for expereinces past and gone?
