This is my first attempt at writing poetry.
It is night
The sirens sing
The clouds have covered
The moon
Their song seeps through
The door made of wood
Right in to my ears
I walked to the beach
Footprints imprinting
To the sand
Wadded to the water's edge
And swam
Diving to the waves
Dark
And
Cold
Dawn breaks
The waves have swept
More than my footprints
Away
Away
