This poem is a romantic ghost story. Please review and let me know what you think...
The Dance in Late December

At the dance on that winter night,
He appeared, that ghastly sight.
Looking for his lost romance.
Looking for his final dance.
He sought his love on this night,
The only way to make things right.
As he walked among the crowd,
Screams of horror were heard aloud.
He finally found the one,
The reason he had come.
The one to fulfill his dream.
Who else but the dance's queen.
Frightened she agreed,
As the ghost, he took the lead.
She began to cry,
Understanding why.
Everyone could see,
but could this really be?
As the song ended,
His heart was fully mended.
Finally he was gone,
But every thing was wrong.
To everyone's dismay,
On the floor the queen did lay.
The crowd thought her soul was taken,
But suddenly she was awaken.
Sobbing aloud,
She told the Crowd
"Alexander Dame
was his human name.
He meant me no harm
When he took me by the arm.
I resembled his love,
Emily Mae Dove.
He died before his chance
To have their final dance.
He completed his task,
He's with her at last.
Now they are together
Dancing in eternity forever."
Everyone will remember
The dance in late December
