A poem prophecy describing the end of the world.
Far within the realms of death and decay,
close yet distant from the mortal eye,
lies an imprisioned force of darkness,
too powerful to die.

Sealed there by the protectors
of liberty, peace and light,
it awaits in the shadowy gloom
to cast all into a frigid night.

It is from the frosts and snow
that it gathers power,
and when these frosts take the Earth,
all of good will cowar.

For all the fires good has lit,
and all the sunlight shone,
all of complacent society waits,
as the greenhouse effect has grown.

And as that light has grown,
continuously sub-contiously increased,
but all will collapse in calamity
once its effect has ceased.

So with that darkness rising,
and all of the world at stake,
let us hope you find a place to hide,
once the ground begins to quake.

Will you escape its wrath,
and plunge yourself assunder,
or will you meet the fate of many,
and pass away in thunder?
