A play on words with seasons in mind.
It has been here,
The seasons gone,
They're lost in time,
For so very long.

What, I ask, if I may?
Can I  come wander?
Am I allowed to stay?
Does it matter anyway?

The peace and quiet,
I do earnestly crave,
With beautiful silence.
Is it Autumn or May?
