My dog gave me a terrible fright yesterday. I woke with these words of giddy relief.
Rovers Return
  a giddy ditty

I thought she was leaving
I tried to hide my panic

As she stared into my eyes,

Her beautiful brown eyes
darkened, dim and distant,

This is not happening
I can't live without you!

It seemed to last forever.

Finally her eyes so grim grew
brilliant brown again,

She returned,
her tail wagged.

Only a seizure,
Hail Seizure.
