I wrote this poem for my friend who died in a boating accident,Cecil Gerald May .
It seems just like yesterday.
I stood and talked to you.
We laughed,you smiled.
Everyones friend,always true.
Now I watch the birds fly.
So high up in the sky.
The clouds slowly moving.
And we have to say goodbye.
In all the hearts you have touched.
Memories locked in our minds.
As we all look forward to seeing you.
In a better place,at a later time.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you for all the advice.
Through the years you have given.
To each and everyone of us.
Your playfulness will never be forgotte.
your face etched in our minds.
Your heart so big so special.
You were truly one of a kind.

In Loving Memory of Cecil Gerald May
