This poem describes my desire to escape my obligations at times.

                        I Wish I Was a Bird

I wish I was a bird so I could fly away

I would soar above the earth both night and day

From the sky my house is the size of a pin

All the chores and worries are trapped within

In the air, without a care for earthly concerns

The wind ruffles my feathers and the sun burns

And if my family wishes to find me

I'll be up in my tree
