sorrow wanting regret
Time has passed
My prime is gone
And I don't have
My fine-trimmed lawn
No one else can truly see
The burdens of reality

Born to parents of little love
I learned young to push and shove
My little princess, come and see
I look back it's not for me

Tears are weak you must be strong
Now I know these words are young
No one else can truly see
The burdens of reality

Dedicated to my mother--she wrote this but never had the opportunity to have it seen or published. It's about her childhood--I love you mom
