A poem about my family and my husband being a soldier.
Just Waiting


I sit and wait,
Wondering,
When will his time come.
A soldier my husband is.
Fighting for this country,
Is what he does.
Gone to war once,
Preparing to go back.
I sit and wait,
Wondering.
I worry and stress,
The anticipation growing.
He'll miss part of our daughters life.
How will I deal with it.
Am I strong enough to do it.
I will give my all because
He gives his all.
So I will sit and wait,
Wondering.
Supporting to the end.
I love him.
