Poem I wrote one day when I looked outside and could only see the fog
As I look out window yonder
Spring has entered in my view
And the morning dew has risen
To a hazy sort of hue,
The fog is forming, thick and gray
To hide the suns eternal ray
I go outside to see more clearly
The fog in mornings grace
And come a quiet peaceful feeling
Hiding in a secret place
I dream of all the ancient fleeting
In a far off distant space
When my ears are faintly beckoned
In the present my return
For a noise is etching closer
To my ever fettered view
S W O O S H

My heart is racing, I return
To my home, to safety bloom
To look outside my window haze
As the sun bright morning rays
Dispel the fog of present day
And I am left with joyful day
To dream, and write again
