    Love's return is out of grasp,
    When a broken heart is born,
    Nobody to tell, just here all alone,
    Eyes laden with tears,
    Young maiden filled with fear,
    Young maiden filled with hope,
    For love's return at last to come,
    For such luck is rare,
    Yet she hopes and yearns,
    For her love to be returned.
