Decade

Oh how I miss
Your untarnished motherly love
It has been more
Than a decade
And now we are
Almost strangers

I had only a decade
Of your untarnished love
Of your motherly embraces
And now we are
Almost strangers

It has been a
Decade plus three
Since I last saw you
With your dead blue skin
And now we are
Almost strangers

Thirteen years have
Come and gone
And now we are
Almost strangers

But you will always
Be my mother
With my love
Untarnished
