Poem about the transition from highschool to college
You said you had fun
once you left this town,
but you wasted those four,
why would you not waste four more?
Everything continues
as you have it set,
and your set to continue
with more disappointment yet.
Oh John can't you see
you can't run from your troubles
they'll transform and manifest,
and look a lot like the old ones.
The troubles that plagued you
for four years while here
are doomed to repeat
for four more years.
