A short, unrhymed poem about what a misfit I am.

I don't believe in 'rise and shine'
I dont believe in over-achievement
I don't believe in rugged individuals
(I don't believe) in movers-and-shakers
(I don't believe) in go-getters
(I don't believe) in trading stocks
and building investment portfolios
I don't believe that all this business is necessary
I don't believe in having lots of stuff
I don't believe that the size of your house is the measure of your worth
I don't believe in marrying young and having children
I don't believe in lawnmowers that you ride on
I don't believe in nascar or football or motorcross
I am a brooder
a ponderer
a reader
I like short stories and poems and some novels
I like philosophy and science
I am a loner
a brooder
a ponderer
I get watery-eyed from music
and lose myself in a fantasy film
i write
and plan on leaving a written record behind when I die
I'm not close to my family
I am a loner, who dreams of falling in love
I am a gazer
I reminisce
I'm good with words
I night-dream and day-dream and imagine
and I believe that this makes my life more thorough
and not 'but a dream'
I waste entire days and evenings
not even bothering to watch TV
what does all this make me?
