I wrote this about a crush a few years back
Her feelings are true
Her affections, sincere
But to him, she is uncaring and aloof
He cannot see
past her impassive mask;
cannot see the passion she hides.
But
if her were only to ask,
he would see where her true beauty lies
For under an awkward
unattractive shell,
there lies a flower,
full of life
beatuty
eagerly waiting its release.
