This poem I wrote for myself..to eventually go on my gravestone.
Friends and lovers come and go,
this, by now, we all should know.

So let this passing faze you not,
remember, nothing, this life brought.

Take one moment to clear your minds,
and ignore the voice, in the wind, you find.

For it was nothing more than an illusion,
filled with torment, and confusion.

Bitter was the taste it left behind,
and for no one, or thing, was it ever kind.

So let it fade away without a care,
for it is not our own pain to bear.

Let this life reap what it had sowed,
emptiness and obscurity by the load.

Dry eyed and happy, we now pass this grave,
of some unknown wench, who wouldn't be saved.
