A question to faith in a simple poem. By Anara L. Perez
They've begun to fall apart,
They've lost all the pieces.
I can't put em' back together,
I just watch them fall again.
Falling's another part of life,
We have to learn to hold on.
Even while hanging on a single thread,
We must use all strength'
Blood, sweat, and tears.
In our time of misery,
A neverending grip.
But a shadow still remains.
Small, but powerful.
It lurks over soon-to-be lost souls.
There's no need for such a path,
There still lies a light at the end of the tunnel.
The only difference,
Some tunnels, like ours, are longer than other's.
Once we had faith in a savior,
And he's still there,
We've just forgotten to call for him.
He never disappeared,
He suffered and still lives on.
You can do the same, it you choose to.
It's you fate, whatever you choose, can't turn back.
