The good old days
Ahh! The good old days when you got what you wanted
And your favorite color was either pink or blue
When boys had cooties, only new dresses and skirts were flaunted
And your biggest problem was deciding which flavor of bubble gum to chew
When the swings were the coolest place to go, and kickball was the game to play
And no matter how many times you washed you were covered in dirt by the end of the day.

Snack time was your favorite class…now maybe lunch is
And you watched the magic school bus with all the kids and Mrs. Frizz
When you’re only job used to be; just to have fun and play
Rain, sun, sleet or snow you could stay outside all day.
Ahhhh the good old days! The life of a kid!
Those were the days; those were the days we once lived.
