A poem about being grounded.
The summer holiday has just begun
It was supposed to be really fun.
And all was to blame on last saturday's dinner
When I quarrelled with my father and mother.
Who decided that the best punishment around
Worst for a child, is to be grounded.
So here I am now writing this poem
Grounded in my room where nothing can make you overwhelmed
I just want to warn you
who is reading this today,
Never provoke your parents
Before a holiday.
