A poem written about a close friend who passed away.
She was a sweet girl
Always made me smile
Nicest in the world
Yet her habits were quite vile

She was very depressed
Surrounded by drugs
She was quite blessed
On our heartstrings tugged

She chose the wrong path
She could have gone far
Her life did not last
She died in a car

Drugs were the cause
Of her final demise
Oh what a loss!
We saw through the lies

So here is a message
To those of the kind
With drugs you can’t salvage
They will destroy your mind

Life is not a toy
Drugs will destroy
