Simple poem from a man in love
She's smarter than me just taking her time
Making her decision and that's not a crime
Over the years we've booth been hurt
We had lovers that made us feel like dirt
We've given our all to get slapped in the face
That's why I'm letting her pick the pace.
She tends to lead and I tend to follow
Trusting in her is not hard to swallow
I tend to rush hoping to get her to bind
Knowing in my heart that she's a great find
But shes just relaxed with a test or a pull
She'll let me know when her heart is full
And till that day I'll have to wait
Hoping at last that I found my mate
