A collaboration of haiku stanzas about a transformation to a wolf.
Rays of light streaming
in between the forest trees
shining to my soul.

A warmth sweeps through me
imbuing me with pleasure;
the transformation.

Fur begins to sprout
from ev'ry pore in my skin
gray, just like a wolf's.

My ears move upward,
my face becomes a muzzle
a wolf's head I have.

I look at my hands.
Claws shear through my fingertips
as pads form under.

My bones and organs
painfully start transforming
forcing me to kneel.

My feet start changing,
becoming much like my hands,
both now fully paws.

My tail forces out
as my bone structure is done.
I am now complete.

Now fully a wolf
I am free from the humans,
my old life, vanished.

My heart beats loudly
as I run through the forest;
I now know true joy.
