A well known intersection in my hometown, after hours, as i wish this would happen...
Walking along the sidewalk | holding hands | we turn the bend | as the yellow lights are surely flashing|and God's spotlight leads the way better than the streetlights | Stopped on the lonely corner with few cars gone by | she kisses me with no sadness and forever more | Her eyes gazed as do mine with the tiny light and she bites her lip nervously | But then she must go but not forever | feelings gather now that worlds have collided | A gracious yelp and what seemed like a gigantic leap that I'd never return from | The walk home was less forunate for what will await me? | yet hope remains | I'll see her again the next day
