A poem about missing a friend.
Missing You

Your house is not far from my house.
You're only a phone call away
but it seems a little different now,
too much time with nothing to say.

Let's not become distant, uncaring;
Let's make the most of this life.
What 'they' say or think means nothing to me.
You'll always be part of my life.

We should not take others for granted,
and I never grow tired of you.
Sharing the good and the bad works wonders.
Seeing your face makes my life less blue.

When you're spreading your wings to hover
over others' needs that you see,
Save a little hug and one of your smiles.
Don't ever forget about me. *Smile*
