An ode to Jim Morrison
You came too early.
You left too soon.
Oh, what I would do to aquaint you.
Though your body is gone
Your' spirit resides in me.

Intriguing poems and hypnotic music you left me.
Daily I attempt to decipher their meanings.
The child-like perspective that you carried
Is somthing I envy and dream to possess.

Some called you Jesus.
Others called you a drunk.
I call you perfect.
I call you inspiring.
I call you peace.
I call you real.

Hey Jim where have you been?
To the other side of morning?
Will I see you again?
Will you be disguised as the Devil,
Or will you appear to me as sin?
Just remember man;
Music is your' special friend.
Dance on fire as it intends.
Music is your' only friend,
Until the end.
