A peom following a form called a 'sestina,' I did for lit class, very fun!
They were completely in love.
The boy,
And the girl.
Their romance was music,
To which their hearts danced.
And their care for each other blossomed like flowers.

They ran off to a field of flowers,
A thing they did in love,
And they danced.
Her in the arms of the boy,
To the sweet music,
Sung by the beautiful girl.

And the girl,
Oh, how she enjoyed singing to the flowers!
And fill the meadow with her music,
Her music made with love.
And the boy,
With whom she danced.

All evening they danced!
And the girl,
And the boy,
Each intoxicated with the sweet scent of the flowers,
Began to fall deeper into love,
With her music.

The music,
To which they danced,
For why the boy was in love,
With the girl.
And the flowers,
Their colors so vibrant to the boy,

To that young, innocent boy,
Loved that sweet music.
And the flowers,
They danced,
With the song of the girl,
The song weaved with her love.

The flowers, to the boy,
Were as in love with the music,
As he, and they danced to the wonderful song of the girl.
