Contemplating on a poet's mental confrontations about his need to write
Can it be true?
Does it happen to you?
The bug bites you so hard
It paralyses your hand

Songs play around all day
facts need an escape-way
fantasies soar and fly away
together they influence your mind's sway

Begging for the release
to pen your thoughts in peace
keep looking for a crevice
to store them up piece by piece

Is that someone I know
peering over my shoulders silent and slow
Will he let me grow?
Or has he no regard for my throw?

Do I write about honest things?
does it matter if i made up feelings?
as long as they emerge as imaginings
straight from my mind's doings

A bard's helpless mind at work
does it heed to the heart's quirk?
does creativity ever shirk
