A poem detailing the life of an alien abductee.
The life of an abductee by P W Willocks

We suffer in silence our lives are a mess
Alien abductees separate from the rest
Blamed for our claims by the best of the best
Life is unfair always put to the test

How would you like it if your homes were invaded?
Your life for mine, yes of course I would trade it

Always living in fear why did they choose me
It’s frustrating as hell when they won’t let you sleep

Stupid little bastards with your big black eyes
I’m double your size yet you still make me cry

What I would do to have a fair fighting chance
But you enter my room and put me in a trance

Next time you arrive I swear I will kill you
But you’re much more advanced so I probably won’t see you

Life as an abductee is just so much fun
When you see me in the street you had better run

Because I’m completely insane or at least that’s how I’m branded
It’s not my fault these creatures chose my garden to land in

Hopefully one day I’ll be free from this terror
Probably dead so take someone else instead.
