Poem about a mother's cruelty
                                     
                                      Mirror


                When the mirror shatters
                  The soul is broken
                  Thrown and split
                  Unto the ground
                  By the coldness of a cruel word
                  The heart aches
                  Just as the shards break the skin
                  They pierce the soul
                  While the blood runs cold
                  And the knowledge sinks in
                  That it can never be the same
                  Again
