Thinking if all I did was worth it ?
Trapped in obscurity
with eyes waiting
for the light to shine.
It never does.
It never will.
For I never even tried
to break free.

Moving in a circle,
careful not to stray away.
Here and there I wanted to sway;
if not so easily
broken like a twig.

It never happened,
dreams remained dreams.
Everything I stood up for,
don't know what it means.

Was it worth it?
I begin to think.
Standing alone all these years,
closing all the doors,
not a soul was to come near.

Didn't waver,
for what I believed,
I thought was right.
Except;
when no one shared the faith
I stood under the star-lit sky,
no one by my side
to say I had done right.
