Sitting in the smokescreen
That I put forth
To cloud reality for a short time
Has now dissipated
And all that is left is the pain of normality
It is the most infinite source of anguish known
The physical pain can never match the emotional sting
Anything physical perishes in time
Psychological pain is etched in the mind and will remain for life
Should we chose to live in reality
Make the smokescreen dense and translucent
So we cannot penetrate it with our eyes
or our minds
