poetry by melina
Your misery glows
Depression lives in your heart
Concealed behind green eyes but everyone knows
Your possesions are torn apart

Living among the trash
Hiding behind closed doors
A haunting memory eats from the past
Your daily routines becoming a bore

You're suffocating under your own life
Apologizies like puzzles, pieces re-arranged
Your lies cut like flesh pressed against a knife
If you don't love yourself you'll never change

One day we will get you the help you've longed to see
One day you can be the perfect mother you've promised me to be
