A poem for contest. I will use it as lyrics after contest. About a hopeless voice...
You never take note,
My lyrics are lost,
Oh but i'll pay
For you to hear,
Tell me, what is the cost?

My wasted words,
Ringing in your ears.
You've never listened,
For so many years.

Anonymous whispers,
Are all that you hear,
Can't you tell
That it's me
When the voice appears?

My wasted words,
Ringing in your ears.
You've never listened,
For so many years.

Heart-wrenching screams,
Are my final plea.
Will you listen
As I yell,
Or will they be lost at sea?

I need you to listen to my deepest feelings,
I need you to hear, my heart is bleeding,
I need you to know, my lungs stopped breathing,
I need you to notice, then I can start healing.

My wasted words,
Ringing in your ears.
You've never listened,
For so many years.
