A poem about life, death and contemplation.
Rain drops
Slowly falling down my window pane
My outstretched hand reaches
To its dismay, it can't feel
the rain
Soon the blade slides across my throat
Red, pure blood
Slides down my chest
I look down, my eyes wander
To their dismay, they can't see
the blood
Now I'm stumbling
Yet I'm floating
I'm questioning
My life's purpose
Looking around me, nothing soothing
Just darkness that I've learned to love
To my dismay, I'm alone now
