personal free writing poem
Apply the makeup
Fix up your hair
The day begins again
Are you ready?

The world keeps turning
As time begins to slow
A new day is all you wish for
Will it never come?

Re-apply the makeup
Re-do your hair
The world is watching
Go ahead, let them stare.

Sleepless nights, tiresome days
Time continues to slow
As everything you knew
Drifts away…

Drinking water in heaps
It’s had to have been weeks
All she wants, is to
Disappear…

A disaster never looked so beautiful
Her life, thinning out
Her scars, they are showing
And from here on out it's all gone going.
