this is a poem i wrote about my feelings towards america
As America conducts Her usual activities,
I sit and absorb Her continual string of life
Sitting in the dark, listening to the world drive on,
lacking the knowledge of her existence
Humanity is just a pawn in the game of life
All the contestant can do is play with strategy

Watching through the looking glass I see the hatred of the dissimilar people
making up what people call the "land of the free:
I hear havoc in the streets as the innocent fall
    and guilty rise
Intervening as we look like gods
Trampling others' beliefs and lives with the promise of the American people
to save all who are without our type of system
Listening to the sound of silence as the people fall to others' wills

Rising from the ashes of our fathers
We stand to fight for our beliefs
as long as the endurance of our pure will holds tight
We shout to the gods to save our souls, our lives, our families,
our whole race; as it crumbles with the sound of misunderstanding
We are what we are, human, not Gods or higher beings of power
We are human, we are the power that rules the world
    with hypocrisy and common sense.
