A surprise
Jack and his wife were in a store buying a new toilet seat. As they looked at the merchandise Jack was thinking of how to get material for his comedy routine.
Finally they took the toilet seat to the checkout counter. The cashier rang up the item and Jack paid.
Then Jack looked at the clerk and said "Can I get it gift wrapped?"
The clerk said "You have to take it to the service area."
Then he realized the joke and laughed.
