Inspired by the hospital visit during my second miscarriage.
It's the things you'll never understand
Bleeding, freezing within white walls covered in wires
Surrounded by women, holding within them the secrets of God
And there are languages swimming around you
Someone is holding a cellphone, asking why
When there isn't an answer at all

I can't see past the present anymore
A world imploded within shaking hands, put together
Snow could fall down, but I just can't see anymore
Wishes that shall be buried beneath your own
And I should just forget what I wanted
(But I can't)

The person you will never meet
Who would have grown up to be better than us
Separated from my aching body that shakes with grief
If only this had been a part of you too
A part you would never forget

This is death dear, so please, just cry
