Sadness Within His Eyes

She felt the pain within his soul
seeping out like no one would ever know
trying to reach the pain deep inside
only to let out a small sigh
it was no use
trying to reach the pain that he carried with him
how could she help him if no one has ever tried
the pain he has is from long ago
not ever letting anyone know
she wanted to tell him that she loved him
but sometimes it was pointless
he looked at her like she was not even there
silence and pain was in his eyes
years of sadness in those brown eyes
anger and rage if you looked really close
his gental soul was no where to be seen
how could this all happen
what could it mean
she was not ready to give up with out a fight
she wanted him to get through this
she wanted him to surive
but how could she help him if she was not even there
a voice on a phone was all she was
nothing could make her want to give him up
but if he didn't soon open up
the silence would kill her
he loved her she knew
but this silence that he sometimes showed her was no good
so she sat there in the slient dark room
wondering if one day he would open up a little bit more
but she didn't know
so she wished on a shooting star
that her love would be enough to help him let all the pain out
to help him be free from his sadness and pain
