A small expression of frustration over being abandoned and misunderstood. First real poem!
Violent green eyes
Come-hither lips
A questioning brow and
Indefinable hips
Catch him off-guard as a rosy breeze
Sweeps through her hair
So quietly

Gossip melts into static;
She's entangled his senses
And she'll long to forever
Albeit unrequited

Kind adoration
And then goodbyes
Followed by silence
Followed by sighs

Her inescapable gaze, so easily lost
In the mist of the mundane,
The freshly fallen frost

A soothing symphony will always replace
That catchy, enchanting melody

A siren torn away from her isle,
Her music betrayed for a simple smile --
For although it's glorious, splendid, and clean
Her smirk is confused as an evil sheen

Which leaves her once more to the sad sad truth:
Safety will always turn magic uncouth
