My love story, ridiculed, in a form of english sonnet ;) A June's monthly contest entry.
As I bequeath my sorrowful story
I bask in rays of summer's pleasant light.
My broken heart, now so full of worry,
Can ease in nature's delight.

By the falling autumn leaves
I met his tender gaze.
So many a girls' kisses on his sleeves,
His character still a maze.

Confining finally my feelings in him
Like the severest winter, his heart turned ice-cold.
The situation nothing but grim
Left me with nothing but a spring's marigold.

Seeking the reason during this night
Maybe the seasons were more in my sight.
