Thank you for your heart and love.
I hide as quiet as I can
Clutching on to your little hands
Listen, watch, but please don't speak
If he sees us, he will freak

I know this isn't much of a life
It wasn't my plan when I became a wife
But you should not have to endure
The pain that keeps knocking at our door

I want to run, I want to hide
But I keep crawling deep inside
I know I am not fair to you
You need my strength to get you through

I really love you, you might not see
I know you know that we should flee
I try and pretend hes not insane
And that you don't feel the pain

You need to have a safe place to fall
Not watch your mother thrown against the wall
I know that you don't understand
The raging anger of this man

Please don't think not one small thought
That this is the normal life I sought
I need to run, I need to hide
I need to keep you safe inside.

I am so sorry that you had to see
Your father be so mean to me
I know you really don't understand
Because you want to love this man

I know that this has changed you heart
Nothing I can do can change your start
But know it was you that helped me go
I pray that this is what you know

I love you more than I felt the fright
I knew it had to stop that night
Hiding, shaking, holding your hand
Got me so angry, do you understand?

So here I am finally at peace with my past
Hoping that you know the memories will last
But we will survive we will move on
And our lives will become a happy song.

I want you to know that you will always be
The little man, strong enough to set me free
The love that shone from your little eyes
Made me see through all the lies

So here we are we have moved on
And things are good, I'm growing strong
I will never let anyone hurt us again
This is my promise to you my little man

I Love You Little Boo....
