A Modern Shakespearean Sonnet: Finding Love at Taco Bell
I pulled up to the drive-thru in my car.
I never thought today would be the day.
The day I’d find true love had seemed so far,
But it really was not far away.

I opened up my food and said: “Oh Wow.”
Never had I seen such perfect nachos.
I ate them fast as if I were a cow.
I must find the chef, I followed my nose.

Walked in the Taco Bell, to the kitchen,
He was the only guy working that shift.
Said I liked his nachos, (blushed slightly then,)
They were delicious and service was swift.

Said he’d give me a lift when he was done
We’d go somewhere nice, like a CinnaBon.
